Google Gravity: I’m Feeling Lucky Tricks (Chrome Experiment)

Before starting with the post, let me ask you first that do you use Google to conduct searches on Internet? Well, I know the answer must be yes. But did you ever notice ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’ button that stays right next to ‘Google Search’?

No no, I am not here to explain that, I am up with this post to make you familiar with the Google Gravity trick. As the name says, it’s trick related to gravity or say is a demonstration of the real life gravity. When you use this trick, all the content on the web page crashes down as some gravitational force is attracting them. This trick can be tried in any web browser. But using the Google Chrome is recommended as I also tried this Google Gravity trick on other browsers like Firefox, but did not get the same features as I got, while using Google Chrome. The Google Gravity trick is also listed as Chrome Experiment. So let’s see how you can do this Chrome Experiment.

What is Google Gravity Tricks ?

This Google Gravity trick or Chrome Experiment is the discovery of  Mr. Doob. So you can conduct this Chrome Experiment by going to the official link of project. Here is the link for it.

The moment you open this page,  in the next moment, the Google homepage will get crashed and will rush towards the bottom of browser’s window, as it’s getting attracted by gravity and then hitting the earth. This method may not be too good to perform this trick as one can’t remember this long link. But don’t worry about it as there is an alternative method to conduct Google Gravity i.e. the I’m Feeling Lucky Trick or Chrome Experiment.

If you don’t want to visit that ‘hard to remember’ link, then you can also proceed like a regular Google search. Here’s how you can do it.

  • First of all, point your browser to Google’s homepage. Click here to do so.
  • Turn off the Google instant search.
  • In the search field, enter Google Gravity and click on I’m Feeling Lucky.
  • See the results
